There is an extended partnership in SILMAS project. With 14 partners coming from the all Alpine Space territory, the alpine lakes network is powerful. The leadership is provided by the Région Rhône-Alpes in France. There are also 6 observers in the project.

The role of observers is to support the general aim of the project while partners take respective tasks and responsibilities defined in an officiel document, signed by everyone.
